Komodo Island and Komodo Dragons

As part of our cruise from Labuan Bajo we visited Komodo Island.

The visit to Komodo Island was very much the same as our visit to Rinca Island had been the day before: we moored at the island, we went to the visitor centre and organised a ranger to go with us and then we went for a hike around the island enjoying the views and the wildlife.

So instead of giving you a blow by blow account of our visit to Komodo Island, when it was much the same as the visit to Rinca Island, I have decided to make just a photo story for Komodo Island…

I hope you enjoy:

Komodo Island

This was our boat. We moored by the jetty at Komodo Island and then went off in search of dragons.

We had heard that it was harder to see Komodo Dragons on Komodo Island than on Rinca Island and after finishing our hike we still hadn’t seen any… but then…

Then when we got back to the visitor centre there were a few lurking around.

Great photos I enjoyed the storyboard for a change. Every picture tells a story.
